چکیده
This study investigated the effect of copper addition on AA-7075 aluminum alloy's microstructure and mechanical behavior. Aluminum alloy with reinforcement varying between 0.3 0.7 wt.% was produced using stir casting technique. The cast pre-heated at a temperature 300 °C held for 1 h before charging into bale-out furnace. Two + Cu samples were different weight percent copper. Both as-received subjected to testing after machining. surface morphology studied optical scanning electron microscopy. relevance percentage in cannot be over-emphasized strategic food processing packaging industries. result showed that higher harder composite becomes. microstructures distinct grain boundaries while rich regions silicon saturation observed alloy. had their respective tensile strength as 0.18 Mpa 0.15 hardness value 420Hv 240HVv . positively influenced by well-distributed reinforcing intermetallic phases which are fine size, although there is an observable reduction micro-segregation. Thus, enhancing properties alloys developed composites.

Modeling of the Effect of Temperature, Frequency, and Phase Transformations on the Viscoelastic Properties of AA 7075-T6 and AA 2024-T3 Aluminum Alloys
The viscoelastic response of commercial aluminum alloys 7075-T6 and 2024-T3 as a function of temperature is presented. Experimental data are obtained with a dynamic-mechanical analyzer (DMA) at different loading frequencies and compared with the available transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) data. The effect of successive microstructural transformat...

Aging and Mechanical Behavior of Be-Treated 7075 Aluminum Alloys
The present study was undertaken to investigate the effect of pre-aging and aging parameters (time and temperature) on the mechanical properties of Al-Mg-Zn (7075) alloys. Ultimate tensile strength, 0.5% offset yield strength and % elongation measurements were carried out on specimens prepared from cast and heat treated 7075 alloys. Aging treatments were carried out for the as solution treated ...

متن کاملDetecting Milling Deformation in 7075 Aluminum Alloy Aeronautical Monolithic Components Using the Quasi-Symmetric Machining Method
The deformation of aeronautical monolithic components due to CNC machining is a bottle-neck issue in the aviation industry. The residual stress releases and redistributes in the process of material removal, and the distortion of the monolithic component is generated. The traditional one-side machining method will produce oversize deformation. Based on the three-stage CNC machining method, the q...
